The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, August 14 reveals Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will spill the beans to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will tie the knot. Plus, Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) wedding gift will catch his sister off guard. And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will come up with a brilliant idea.
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) the thought of his sister marrying Tucker makes him feel sick to his stomach. But they need to keep playing their part. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will arrive and say she hopes this wedding brings the family back together.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Tucker And Ashley Seal The Deal
At Crimson Lights, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also be feeling out of sorts. He’ll tell Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) he did his job for Jack and Diane so well that Ashley offered him the top spot at Jabot. “If I roll over on Jack.” Chelsea will ask what he said. “What I should have said was go to hell but I didn’t.” Billy will admit it’s tempting but he didn’t give his sister an answer.
At the Chancellor estate, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will tell her mom she doesn’t have to go through with the wedding if she doesn’t want to. “I am marrying Tucker because I love him,” Ashley will reply. After Abby gives her something borrowed, something old and something blue, they’ll head downstairs and the ceremony will begin. “You are impossible, but I think you understand me probably more than anybody ever has,” Ashley will say to Tucker. “And I’m exited about the future. It’s gonna be a lot of laughs and a lot of love.”
In his vows, Tucker will say he spent a lot of time trying to pretend she didn’t matter. But she was the one who got away. “And I feel like this is a miracle. I have always loved you.” They’ll be pronounced man and wife and Tucker will kiss his bride. At the reception, Jack will give his sister a wedding gift. “You’re giving me my company’s assets back?” a surprised Ashley will say. But he’ll tell her it’s to let her know the war between them is over. “What’s the catch?” she’ll ask.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle’s Idea Impresses Audra
Meanwhile, Audra will open up to Kyle. She’ll tell him years ago she covered something up for Tucker. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) uncovered it and is forcing her to promote a merger to the Newmans. “This is a big mess, even for me,” she’ll admit. She’s been wracking her brain, trying to figure out something else to give Adam but has come up with nothing. However, Kyle will come up with an idea Audra will call brilliant. “You have the power and protection on your side,” he’ll say. “Someone who’s been in your position and won’t judge you for it.”
At Newman Ranch, Victor will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Ashley’s going through with the sham wedding to Tucker. “Let’s forget about that, we have bigger problems,” Nikki will say. “Their names are Nate and Audra.” She’ll tell him they both pitched Adam’s idea that Audustus and Newman Media should merge. Nikki will add she doesn’t understand why Audra would push something that would demote her. “Who benefits the most?” Victor will ask. “Adam,” Nikki will reply.
Finally, Audra will arrive a the ranch. She’ll apologize for interrupting and say she didn’t expect to see Nikki there. “I live here,” Nikki will reply. “And if you think this little chat with Victor is going to change anyone’s mind, you are mistaken.” But Audra will say that’s not why she’s there. “It is about the merger, but I need to explain why I’ve been trying to convince you to do it,” she’ll tell them. “Your son Adam has my back up against the wall and I don’t know what to do about it.”
